Raise Em' High and Bold Boys. June 6th 1944 a young man stood on the ramp of an assault craft off the Northern Coast of France. I like to think that a few days prior in a pub in England that same young G.I. raised his glass, looked at his fellow service men and toasted to courage, to their country and to the girls they left behind. "Raise Em' High and Bold Boys".

Using a coaster isn't necessary...but it sure is good manners. Now, what makes more sense than resting your glass of whiskey on a piece of fine, finished leather.
